If you are looking for a somewhat smaller campsite on the Lake Garda, Piantelle is the right choise for you. This cosy family-run site is situated directly on the lakeside in a green and quiet area. The terrain is partly flat, with towards the lake terraces and the pretty large pitches are rahter shady because of the oaks and poplars.
The campsite offers you everything you could possibly wish for a nice family-holiday. Piantelle disposes of a swimmingpool with paddlerspool, sauna, a simple restaurant with a very good kitchen and, not to be missed the pebbly beach with private jetty. Young and old amuse themselves with "Water-wars", the attraction from the campsite, and also the animationteam will keep you busy.
Piantelle is located on the southwestside of the Gardalake within a stone's throw from the snugly harbour of Moniga del Garda. The campsite as well as the harbour has a slope to launch your boat and bouys are available. For those who don't possess a boat: there is always the possibility to take the "batello" for a boattrip over the lake. And what about a visit to the nice market of nearby Desenzano, or the peninsula Sirmione, with its interesting sights and multiple restaurants? The area is hilly and a bit less crowded as the southeastside. By car attractions as Gardaland en Canevaworld can easily be reached. Obviously you can get off your car en visit the cosy towns of the Gardalake.
